1. WHAT IS BROAD-SPECTRUM HEMP EXTRACT?LULA sources its Broad-Spectrum Hemp Extract from the hemp plant, which has naturally low levels of THC. To further ensure LULA products have near-zero THC, we use Broad-Spectrum Hemp Extract in all of our formulas. Broad-spectrum hemp extract still contains minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant compounds that help hemp extract provide calming & soothing effects without THC. 2. IS LULA CLEAN? As the quest for clean living continues to grow globally, the desire to take care of ourselves and consider the toxicity of what we put into and onto our bodies is becoming the new norm. At LULA, we believe being a clean beauty brand should not be a trend or fad but rather a society standard for product safety. IS THE LINE VEGAN?Both the Potion Serum and Hand & Body Lotion are entirely formulated without animal-derived ingredients. The Beyond Balm is formulated with beeswax that has been sustainably obtained. 11. WHAT’S THE SHELFLIFE OF THE PRODUCTS? HOW LONG DO THE PRODUCTS ONCE OPEN?The shelf life for LULA products is 12 months. 12. DO YOU USE FRAGRANCES IN YOUR PRODUCTS? IF SO, WHAT ARE THE SCENT USED IN THE LINE?At LULA, we never use synthetic fragrance. Our products are formulated with essential oils that are naturally derived. Our signature scent is a combination of Jasmine, Bergamot, Lavender extracts. Read more about our fragrance on the individual product pages.13. ARE ESSENTIAL OILS HARMFUL TO SKIN?Used in high concentrations, essential oils can be both irritating and damaging to the skin. Essential oils are best used at low concentrations and are found in LULA formulas to benefit your skin while providing a beautiful yet subtle fragrance.14. IS THE LINE SAFE FOR USE DURING PREGNANCY AND WHILE BREASTFEEDING?Although Sarah used LULA products throughout both her pregnancies, we always suggest consulting a doctor before adding a new product to your skincare regimen.

None of the formulas and none of the raw materials are tested on animals and we are fully committed to using alternatives to animal testing to ensure the safety of our products. We are also proudly Leaping Bunny certified. 16. IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?Yes, all LULA packaging is made of recyclable glass, plastic, and FSC-Certified paper. 17. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY EMPTIES?Once you have a collection of empties, email us at hello@wearelula.com and we will create a shipping label for you to mail your empties back to us.
